About The Founder of Save The Just Campaign

As a lawyer, my journey in the world of law began with a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of everyday people. I realized that legal knowledge is often seen as inaccessible and intimidating. Many individuals are unaware of their rights, and this lack of awareness can lead to injustice and inequality – Merit ESQ.

Chiamaka Merit Nwanosike is the visionary founder of Save The Just, a legal initiative dedicated to defending the rights of innocent individuals who have been unjustly accused or wrongfully imprisoned. Merit is a criminal defense and family lawyer who was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2022. She worked with FIDA, Port Harcourt (International Federation of Female Lawyers) in 2023 where she received over 20 complaints daily on domestic violence, rape and other criminal offense as it relates to family issues. She also worked with the law enforcement agent to ensure that justice was meted out. She currently works in the prestigious firm of Emeka Ngige, Emeka Ngige & Co. where she is carrying on her private practice too. Her passion for justice and fairness drives her to work tirelessly to advocate for those who have been wrongfully accused, providing them with the legal support they need to regain their freedom and continue with their lives.

Merit’s legal expertise spans criminal defense and family law. Her experience in these areas allows her to navigate complex legal cases involving various criminal charges, rape cases, and family matters. Her dedication to her clients is evident in her approach to each case, where she strives to achieve the best possible outcome for those she represents.

Merit seeks to collaborate with lawyers from around the world to achieve the goal of providing legal assistance to those who need it most. By working together with legal professionals from different countries, she aims to expand the reach of Save The Just and provide support to individuals in various legal jurisdictions.

Free Campaign for the Less Privileged

One of the most remarkable aspects of Merit’s campaign is that it is free for those who are less privileged. This initiative ensures that individuals who may not have the financial means to afford legal representation can still access the support they need to fight for their freedom. Merit’s commitment to helping the less privileged is a testament to her belief in justice for all.

Belief in the Importance of Time

Merit firmly believes that time is the most valuable gift one can give to another person, especially when it comes to those who are innocent and unjustly jailed. It breaks her heart to see innocent individuals behind bars, and she is determined to use her legal expertise to rectify these injustices.

Although Save The Just is a campaign that is just starting out, Merit’s dedication and passion for justice are expected to drive its rapid growth. With her leadership and commitment to fairness, Save The Just is poised to become a prominent force in the fight against wrongful imprisonment.

Chiamaka Merit Nwanosike’s work as the founder of Save The Just is a powerful example of how one individual’s passion for justice can make a significant impact on the lives of others. Her dedication to providing free legal assistance to the less privileged and her commitment to working with lawyers worldwide to achieve her goals make her a leading figure in the fight for justice and fairness in the legal system.
